**About the role**:
We are currently seeking a Coal Handling Preparation Plant (CHPP) Operator/Maintainer for our Wambo mine complex. Our Wambo mine complex is a combined open-cut and underground mine located 30 kilometers west of Singleton. It produces both metallurgical and thermal coal for export markets.
Reporting to the CHPP Shift Supervisor, you will be required to safely and productively operate the plant and mobile equipment utilising your skills and experience, as well as carry out electrical repairs and maintenance to maximise Coal Preparation Plant production.
**Duties will include**:
- Identify, report and act on all hazards and comply with the Health, Safety and Environment Management System
- Operations of the Process Plant, Stockpile Dozer and Train Load Out
- Perform first response breakdown maintenance tasks as required
- Maintain CHPP equipment as requested during scheduled maintenance and shutdown periods
- Maintain cleanliness of all areas of the CHPP and Train Loadout
