WARRRL (Western Australia Return Recycle Renew Limited), the organisation behind Containers for Change, is on a mission to drive positive environmental change through smart, strategic engagement. WARRRL is seeking a highly capable executive‑level operational, governance and strategic support to ensure the organisation's senior leadership operates cohesively, efficiently and with clarity.
Working closely with the CEO, Chief Officers, Board Secretariat and key external stakeholders, you will manage complex diaries, governance processes, executive reporting, and strategic planning cycles, while driving continuous improvement across executive operations.
Key responsibilities
* Optimise Chief Officer productivity and alignment through proactive diary management, prioritisation and maintenance of the annual corporate calendar
* Provide high‑quality executive administration support across the C‑suite, including meeting coordination, agenda preparation, SharePoint documentation management and vital document registers
* Manage competing priorities across multiple Chief Officer diaries with sound judgement and discretion
* Ensure Board and C‑suite engagements operate smoothly through coordinated executive and governance support, in collaboration with the Company Secretary
* Coordinate Board and committee reporting, ensuring documentation accuracy, timeliness and alignment with governance standards
* Enable effective day‑to‑day operation of the Office of the CEO (OCEO)
* Provide structured support for strategy development and Operations Plan cycles, including administration, meeting coordination and documentation control
* Maintain visibility of key organisational milestones, interdependencies and delivery timeframes across Chief Officer portfolios
* Manage the CEO budget to ensure effective allocation of resources
* Support Chief Officers with expense and travel processing in line with financial delegations and policies
* Support the effective operation of the C‑suite through weekly and ad‑hoc meetings and events (including out‑of‑hours commitments where required)
* Manage Monthly Business Update meetings end‑to‑end
* Drive continuous improvement across executive processes, systems, digital tools and ways of working
* Model ethical, inclusive and future‑focused leadership aligned with organisational values
Strategy & Planning Support
* Provide structured support for strategy development and Operations Plan cycles, including administration, meeting coordination and documentation control
* Maintain visibility of key organisational milestones, interdependencies and delivery timeframes across Chief Officer portfolios
Financial & Resource Management
* Manage the CEO budget to ensure effective allocation of resources
* Support Chief Officers with expense and travel processing in line with financial delegations and policies
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
* Support the effective operation of the C‑suite through weekly and ad‑hoc meetings and events (including out‑of‑hours commitments where required)
* Manage Monthly Business Update meetings end‑to‑end
* Drive continuous improvement across executive processes, systems, digital tools and ways of working
* Model ethical, inclusive and future‑focused leadership aligned with organisational values
Stakeholder & Government Relations
* Act as a key liaison between the Minister's Office, Board, DWER and CEO regarding meetings and documentation
* Serve as the primary contact for high‑level guests, visitors and dignitaries
* Manage complex travel and logistics for Chief Officers and stakeholders during major strategic events
* Strengthen digital and executive communications to support senior stakeholder engagement
What you'll bring
* Significant experience supporting C‑suite and Board‑level executives in a complex organisation
* Demonstrated expertise in diary management, governance processes and executive coordination
* Strong understanding of strategy, planning and executive reporting cycles
* High‑level stakeholder management skills, including government or ministerial engagement
* Proven financial and budget management capability
* Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
* Strong judgement, discretion and resilience in a fast‑paced environment
