Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the installation and maintenance of high-capacity fibre networks.
* Perform fibre jointing, copper installations, infrastructure upgrades and fault restorations.
* Conduct optical cable splicing, optical cable hauling, network maintenance, after hours' restoration, pit and pipe installations & building entries.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* Eligible work rights for permanent residency or Australian citizenship.
* Proven previous experience in a similar trade assistant role.
* Strong cabling experience.
* Optical Fibre splicing qualifications (desired).
* Structured Cabling qualifications (desired).
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a team.
* High level of customer service skills.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
* Ability to work flexible hours.
* Ability to train and supervise other staff.
* Intermediate computer skills.
* Current C Class Driver's Licence.
* White Card (Construction Training).
