Role Description
We are seeking a driven and commercially minded Product Manager to join our Life Science team at In Vitro Technologies. This is a pivotal role responsible for defining and executing key sales, marketing and market-development strategies to drive profitability, brand visibility, and long-term growth across Australia and New Zealand.
You will be the internal product champion - leading portfolio strategy, identifying new market opportunities, shaping product positioning, and empowering our Territory Managers with the tools, training and insights needed to succeed.
This role combines traditional product management with proactive scientific market development. You will work closely with vendors, Key Opinion Leaders, academic institutions and industry partners, while also supporting commercial teams with technical expertise and customer-driven insights.
This is a hybrid full-time permanent position, based out of Eight Mile Plains (QLD), Milperra (NSW) or Noble Park (VIC).
Key Responsibilites
* Champion and grow your product portfolio across ANZ.
* Provide technical and product training to internal teams and customers.
* Develop and execute targeted marketing and promotional plans.
* Lead new product launches and go-to-market strategies.
* Analyse competitor activity, pricing and market movements.
* Build strong vendor relationships and provide quarterly reporting.
* Determine pricing, inventory forecasts and profitability targets.
* Identify new market opportunities and emerging applications.
* Engage with KOLs, academics and industry partners to drive adoption.
* Support Territory Managers with technical guidance and sales enablement.
About you
* Masters or PhD in Life Sciences (highly regarded).
* 3+ years' sales experience in the Scientific or Medical market.
* Proficiency in Cell & Gene Therapy techniques, Spatial Biology, Multiomics, and Biomarker analysis.
* Strong background in Cell Culture and Immunostaining.
* Proven ability to drive market development and product growth.
* Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
* Commercial mindset with experience in pricing, forecasting or product strategy.
* Full driver's licence and willingness to travel when required.
