About the role
We're looking for an experienced and organised Administration and Office Coordinator to provide leadership and coordination of administrative operations across Somerville.
In this role, you'll supervise administration and reception staff, coordinate day-to-day office functions, and provide high-level executive support to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer and General Managers. You'll play an important part in ensuring Somerville's offices are professional, welcoming, and consistently managed, supporting teams to work efficiently and focus on delivering quality services.

In this role you'll
Provide executive-level administrative support to senior leaders, including diary coordination, meeting preparation, and professional correspondence
Lead, supervise, and support administration and reception staff across multiple Somerville offices
Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment
Develop, implement, and improve administrative systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and consistency
Coordinate travel, purchasing, and office logistics for staff across multiple sites
Support organisational committees, meetings, and governance requirements
Assist with events, workshops, and administrative improvement projects
What you'll bring
You'll bring initiative, strong coordination skills, and a commitment to service excellence, along with:
Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating office administration, ideally across multiple sites or teams
Proven ability to provide high-level administrative and executive support to senior managers
Strong organisational and time management skills, with excellent attention to detail
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide and support others
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and confidence using office systems and databases
Sound judgement, discretion, and professionalism when handling sensitive information
A proactive, solutions-focused approach and flexibility to support varied administrative needs
Current (or ability to obtain) Ochre Card, Criminal History Check, NDIS Worker Screening, NT Driver's Licence, and influenza vaccination
A qualification in business administration or experience in the not-for-profit or disability sector will be highly regarded.
