EmployMe Pty Ltd is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Clerk to join our growing team in the Queanbeyan region NSW. About the Role: As a General Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of office processes. Your responsibilities will include data entry, filing, document management, handling correspondence, and providing general administrative support to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately record, organise, classify, and maintain company information and documentation
* Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, opening, and distribution
* Perform administrative support tasks such as photocopying and document handling
* Prepare routine reports in a clear and structured format
* Maintain records of equipment issued to staff members
* Handle incoming correspondence, including phone calls and written messages
* Enter data into computer systems, ensuring accuracy through proofreading and editing
* Compile reports related to organisational activities, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and relevance
* Coordinate and arrange office accommodation as required, in line with organisational standards
* Provide customers with information regarding services when required
* Undertake general reception duties as needed
Required Skills and Experience:
* Experience: Minimum of one year of relevant experience in
General Clerk role or a related field. Experience can substitute for formal qualifications where applicable.
* Qualifications: While formal qualifications in
General Clerk or a related field are preferred, relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may also be considered.
* Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interact effectively with senior management.
* Organizational Skills: Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
Proven capability to manage documentation, data, and reporting efficiently.
* Problem-Solving: Adept at identifying issues, analysing situations, and implementing effective solutions.
Salary: $76,000 to $95,000 p.a.
