Supporting Resources Villages Operations
We're looking for a pragmatic and influential WHS Manager to partner with senior leaders and drive impactful safety outcomes across a portfolio of resources villages in the Central Highlands region.
This is a hands‐on, site-based role where you'll shape safety culture across catering, cleaning, and village services, while building frontline leadership capability and delivering real operational impact.
What you'll be doing
* Partnering with the Key Account Director to deliver the Health & Safety Plan
* Providing practical, on-the-ground HSE advice to operational leaders
* Coaching and mentoring teams to strengthen safety leadership capability
* Driving consistency and compliance across HSEQ systems and processes
* Leading audit, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Championing Velocity (HSEQ system) for reporting, investigations & insights
* Using data to influence decision‐making and reduce risk
* Building strong, trusted client relationships
About you
You're a confident, solutions‐focused safety professional who thrives in dynamic environments and knows how to influence at all levels.
You'll bring:
* ~4+ years' WHS experience (resources, FM, infrastructure or similar)
* Cert IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum)
* Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability
* Experience driving culture and leading change
* A practical, outcomes‐focused approach
Bonus if you have:
* iCAM / TapRoot (or similar) Root Cause Analysis training
Key requirements
* C Class Driver's Licence
* Ability to travel between sites (400–500km/week)
* Ability to obtain and maintain: Standard 11 Coal Induction, QLD Coal Board Medical and National Police Check
