The Package: $95,424.68 - $105,446.64 gross per annum + 12% super. (Evaluated as Grade 14 of the QPRC Salary System 2025).

In this role you will:
* Provide high-level administrative, clerical and support service to the Council, in the preparation of reports and correspondence for Council legal matters, along with the maintenance of legal databases and registers.
* Liaise with and coordinate information from, Council’s legal advisors, staff members and insurers including obtaining expert advice and documentation, for a wide variety of matters including land sales, development compliance and insurance claims.
* Provide assistance regarding community complaints, requests for information, public interest disclosures, annual reporting, and legal updates for Council.
* Develop, implement and maintain Council’s leases and licences and liaising with asset owners to draft licence and leasing agreements.
We are looking for someone who:
* Has professional experience in a similar legal, governance or local government-based role.
* Demonstrated ability to interpret and research NSW legislation and regulations.
* Strong written and verbally communication capability to negotiate outcomes and de-escalate conflict.
