Senior SAP Technical Lead / Developer
Contract Duration – 12 months contract with possible extension
Location – QLD, ACT, VIC, SA
Security clearance - Must be able to obtain Baseline
DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior SAP Technical Lead / Developer to lead the design, development, and delivery of high-quality SAP solutions across major digital transformation initiatives. This role will suit a highly experienced SAP professional who enjoys leading technical teams, solving complex ICT challenges, and delivering scalable enterprise solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design and development of complex SAP technical solutions across enterprise systems.
* Provide specialist technical advice on software development, architecture, and ongoing system maintenance.
* Develop strategies to ensure high-quality code and long-term maintainability of applications.
* Lead analysis, solution design, development, prototyping, unit testing, and maintenance activities.
* Manage release planning, deployment, and go-live production support.
* Conduct high-level analysis of technical requirements and propose effective solutions.
* Investigate and resolve highly complex ICT and SAP-related issues.
* Prepare technical reports, documentation, and recommendations for stakeholders.
* Lead and deliver projects within the assigned portfolio while managing risks and priorities.
* Support strategic workforce planning and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Lead and mentor technical staff to improve team performance and engagement.
* Provide coaching, capability development, and performance management.
* Promote a positive risk management culture.
* Support staff health, wellbeing, and professional development.
Strong experience in SAP technologies (including but not limited to)
Strong experience in SAP technologies including (but not limited to): SAP CRM, SAP S/4 HANA, SAP ABAP, AP BRF+, SAP UI5, SAP ERP, SAP FI/CO, SAP PSCD, SAP Solution Manager, SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, SAP Integration Services, IBM API Connect, SAML / OAuth authentication, SAP BODS (desirable)
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience designing and delivering high-quality SAP solutions in large enterprise environments.
* Previous experience working within government or large-scale public sector environments
* Demonstrated experience leading software release and deployment processes.
* Advanced programming and configuration experience in enterprise SAP environments.
* Experience working in Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
