THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to lead a high‐performing luxury retail boutique located within Chadstone Shopping Centre. This role is heavily focused on the customer journey, client engagement and team leadership. Working closely with the Store Manager and the Client Relations Manager, you will play a key role in developing long‐term relationships with VIP and returning clientele while supporting and motivating a team of retail professionals. You will be a visible presence on the shop floor, setting the standard for service excellence and leading by example in a premium retail environment.
Day‐to‐Day
* Deliver an elevated and personalised luxury shopping experience
* Build and maintain strong relationships with VIP and high‐value clients
* Drive clientelling initiatives that increase loyalty and repeat business
* Coach, mentor and motivate team members to achieve individual and store goals
* Support recruitment, onboarding and performance development activities
* Lead daily store operations and floor management
* Collaborate with senior leadership to maintain a positive and high‐performing culture
* Contribute ideas and initiatives that support business growth opportunities
* Ensure visual presentation and service standards consistently reflect a luxury environment
Experience Required
* Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager, Store Manager, Team Manager or similar leadership role within premium or luxury retail
* Strong background in clientelling and relationship‐driven selling
* Proven ability to build trust with VIP and high‐spending clientele
* Experience leading, coaching and developing retail teams
* Hands‐on leadership style with a willingness to support all areas of the business
* Boutique retail experience highly regarded
* Exposure to luxury fashion, accessories, handbags, designer apparel or premium lifestyle brands
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Second language will be highly regarded, though not essential
* Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences

Salary
$80,000 - $85,000 + Superannuation + Commissions and Benefits
