Ready to take the next step in your sales career? This is an exciting full- time opportunity for a driven Sales Development professional to own their territory and drive real growth. Working closely with Sales Manager – QLD, you will lead strategy and execution across the Brisbane Metro and North to Rockhampton.

About the role:

In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of driving growth and strengthening our market presence. By building strong, trusted customer relationships and bringing IPD's extensive portfolio of products and services to market, you will help shape the success of our business in the region.

* Identifying new prospects and sales opportunities.
* Building and managing key accounts within the customer base.
* Developing and implementing sales strategies to maintain existing business and drive new business
* Following a structured sales process to qualify, develop, and close customer opportunities.
* Collaborating with both local and national teams to allocate resources effectively.
* Providing accurate market, opportunity, and activity insights to management through the CRM system.
* Organising a minimum of 8–10 face-to-face meetings per week with active and prospective customers.
* Demonstrating strong application knowledge and consultative approach to managing sales activities.
* Attending industry-related events to support business development, networking, and gathering market intelligence.




Skills And Experiences


About you:

* 5+ years sales experience within the Industrial Automation / Electrical sector
* Preferably with Electrical license or Automation certification
* Proven experience developing and executing sales strategies to build, manage, and maintain a strong pipeline
* Demonstrated ability to apply a consultative selling approach to uncover, understand, and address customer needs
* Strong solution-selling capability, with the ability to tailor offerings to complex customer requirements
* Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
* A collaborative team player with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
* An effective communicator with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
* A sales professional with a structured, process-driven approach to selling
