About the Role
As a PD Fitter, you'll be responsible for the pre‐delivery and accessory fitment of vehicles, ensuring every car leaves our dealership ready for adventure. With TJM joining the Bartons family, this role offers the chance to work with some of Australia's best 4x4 and off‐road gear — from snorkels and bull bars to tow bars, suspension upgrades, and more.
Hours
Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm (occasional Saturday work and overtime may apply)
Your day will include:
* Fitting a range of vehicle accessories (snorkels, tow bars, bull bars, suspension, roof racks, etc.)
* Completing pre‐delivery inspections and accessory installations to a high standard
* Working safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail
* Maintaining workshop cleanliness and organisation
* Supporting the team to deliver an exceptional Bartons experience
About You
We're looking for a skilled and reliable technician who takes pride in quality workmanship. You love the satisfaction of a well‐fitted accessory and a customer‐ready vehicle.
* Previous experience fitting automotive accessories (essential)
* Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
* A proactive, safety‐first approach
* The ability to work both independently and as part of a close‐knit team
