The Pharmacy Department at Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Pharmacy Student to join their team on a casual basis.
This Expression of Interest collects various information to help identify potentially suitable applicants for future opportunities.

Your opportunity
The Pharmacy Student role involves performing clinical support activities and developing skills while engaged in full-time tertiary studies necessary for entry-level qualification (mandatory) for employment as a Health Practitioner in Queensland.
Students are employed casually to accommodate their study commitments while gaining pre-registration workplace exposure. They contribute to pharmacy service delivery at Mackay Base Hospital under the supervision of a pharmacist, supporting effective patient care.

Our Pharmacy Service at Mackay Base Hospital provides patient-centered pharmacy services, seven days a week, including dispensing medication on hospital prescriptions for inpatient use.
