The Role
- Part-time 16 – 24 hrs weekdays

Essential Criteria:
- Previous Senior Medical Secretary/Practice Manager experience
- Self-motivation, problem solving skills and the ability to work cohesively in a small team environment essential
- Experienced using Practice Management Software including billings, Medicare/DVA/Workcover.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to adjust and adapt to practice requirements
- Excellent customer service to patients, other providers and excellent communication skills within the office team workplace
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise effectively with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds
- Maintain a high level of written and verbal communication skills. This includes a professional telephone manner and written email communications
- Ability to work in Australia
- Demonstrated empathetic, compassionate and professional demeanour
- Experience of management of a specialist medical practice is an added advantage.
Duties:
- Leadership of clinic support staff including reception, nursing and administration
- Coordinating and managing clinic sessions.
- Managing the clinic operational requirements including financial performance, budgeting, service delivery, resourcing, patient bookings, rostering, accreditation and business development.
- Stocktake and ordering of office supplies.
- Payroll and bookkeeping experience.
- Engagement and management of third parties
