A busy expanding business in Glenorchy seeking an experienced motor mechanic/automotive technician with the ability to diagnose and repair all models of passenger vehicle. As we have recently expanded to a new site, we seeking someone to join the team.

Requirements
• Previous experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic
• Certificate III Automotive (Mechanical – Light Vehicle)
• Valid Australian drivers licence
• Vast mechanical knowledge across a range of vehicle brands and types
What you will have
* Trade certificate
* Current manual drivers license
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting vehicle servicing and repairs - on time and to a high standard
* Completing repair work and/or maintenance as per the repair order to dealership and brand requirements
* Adhering to checklists and quality control standards
* Test driving vehicles after servicing and repairs are complete
* Maintaining accurate reports
* Keep up to date with mandatory factory training
To be considered for the role, you will have:
* Technical qualifications as an automotive technician/mechanic
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* The ability to work as part of a team that supports each other and is committed to delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service
* The ability to work efficiently, accurately and safely in a fast-paced workshop
* A current manual driver's licence and clean driving record
* Experience with vehicle diagnostics and diagnosing experience.
