Reporting to our Sales Manager WASA, the primary focus of this role is to deliver value and find solutions for plant efficiency for our customers, providing expertise in product knowledge, conducting thorough assessments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to tailor our offerings to meet the unique needs of each client.
Additionally, the Technical Sales Representative will play a crucial role in cultivating strong client relationships, staying abreast of industry trends, and contributing to the overall growth and success of our business in the Adelaide Office.

Job tasks and responsibilities
You like working independently whilst being part of a successful team, aligning your existing qualifications and developing your knowledge and mechanical aptitude to
Visit customers' manufacturing plants in your assigned territory
Understanding the customers specifications for manufacture, and determining materials, equipment, piping, material flows, capacities and layout of plant and systems
Walk the plant (inspect the plant) to identify opportunities to improve performance, safety and efficiency
Promote Spirax Sarco's product range to a new and existing client base both from within the assigned territory using CRM and other tools, skills and training
Manage quotes for Spirax Sarco products, services and solutions
Work with the service team members to fully support customer steam plants
Seek out new and maintain existing customers and actively use CRM as an area management tool
Learn about Spirax Sarco Sustainability Solutions to assist our customers to meet their energy efficiency goals
Skills and experience
Trade or tertiary qualifications in industrial, mechanical, chemical, or related engineering fields are preferred
Experience in "solution selling" and process engineering on manufacturing site is highly desirable
Background as a maintenance fitter or service technician for industrial products will be highly regarded
Strong passion for sustainability and energy efficiency is required
Interest in B2B industrial/technical sales or marketing is preferred
Intermediate proficiency in MS Office suite, including PowerPoint, is necessary
Strong written and spoken English skills with a willingness to develop into a skilled presenter
Must hold and maintain a current civil driver's license
Familiarity with QA and WHS compliance is expected
Results-driven mindset with a focus on ethical and professional standards
