What you'll do:
Assist with the execution of sell-side, buy-side, origination, capital raising, and strategic reviews.
Support and contribute to the decision making of key senior stakeholders through presentations and communications on deal proposals and structures.
Collaborate with, and project manage, specialists across a range of disciplines (such as legal, tax and transaction services) to deliver an integrated deal solution for our clients.
Harness stakeholder relationships developed through transaction execution and strong deal flow to be a key part of the origination of further M&A activities.Assist senior team members with business development activities and preparing proposal documentation.
Draft and review marketing materials including Teaser Documents, Information Memoranda, Management Presentations, Process Letters, and Term Sheets.
Conduct financial analysis and build financial models.
What we're looking for:
Strong theoretical understanding of corporate finance and M&A advisory with transaction experience from investment banks, boutique consulting, Big Four consulting, corporate finance firms or law firms.
Ability to develop integrated financial models for business valuation, cash flow, or financial analysis.
Strong business acumen and proven ability to support the deal process.
Project management and multi-tasking ability as a team player with strong organisational skills.
A strong sense of integrity and care for the people you work with.
Ideally, completion of a Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Business degree coupled with further study (e.g. Masters of Applied Finance, CFA, and/or CA).
