Austek Roads is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Asphalt Crew Members to join our crew based out of Luscombe, QLD. As an Asphalt Crew Member, you will play a crucial role in supporting our asphalt paving operations, contributing to the successful delivery of vital infrastructure projects across the region.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting the asphalt paving crew with the setup, operation and maintenance of asphalt paving equipment
* Ensuring the safe and efficient placement of asphalt material on project sites
* Performing manual labour tasks such as shovelling, raking and tamping asphalt
* Participating in the cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areas
* Collaborating with the wider construction crew to deliver high-quality asphalt paving work
* Adhering to all relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
What we're looking for
* Experience as an Asphalt Crew Member required
* Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of asphalt paving equipment
* Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
* A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation [HR/MR Licence would be beneficial]
* White Card / Construction Card
* Commitment to workplace health and safety
* Crew Truck Driver
