Clinical Technologist Job Description
As a key player in delivering clinical engineering services, you will ensure medical devices operate effectively and safely with minimal downtime.
* Maintain and repair medical equipment, including electrical, electronic, mechanical, computer software, and medical gas systems.
* Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, servicing, repair, calibration, safety, and acceptance testing on a wide range of medical devices.
* Liaise with clinical and technical staff to identify faults and repair equipment, working in all clinical areas and with manufacturers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Hold a HNC/HND/BEng/BSc in Electronics/Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a scientific subject, or equivalent combination of qualifications and knowledge.
* Extensive practical experience of mechanical and electromechanical engineering workshop practices and techniques.
