Long Point Brewing Co. is a brand new coastal gastro brewpub overlooking the Indian Ocean, opening this June in Kennedy Bay.
We are building a high energy, service driven venue with a strong focus on hospitality, craft beer, food and guest experience. This is a large format venue and we are looking for experienced Duty Managers who can confidently lead from the floor.
About the role
This is a hands on, service based role where you will be leading shifts, supporting the team, and ensuring a consistent and high quality guest experience across the venue.
You will be working across bar and floor, managing service flow, and setting the tone for the team during busy periods.
This is a full time position working a mix of days and nights, working 40 hours per week. Weekend availability is essential.
What you will be doing
-Leading shifts in a large, high volume venue
-Driving strong, consistent service standards
-Communicating clearly with team members across multiple areas
-Supporting bar and floor operations during peak service
-Managing service flow and guest experience end to end
-Working closely with senior management and leadership team
What we are looking for
-Proven experience as a Duty Manager in a busy hospitality venue
-Strong ability to communicate and lead within a large team environment
-A genuine passion for service and guest experience
-Solid knowledge of craft beer, wine and cocktails
-Confidence working across both bar and floor
-Ability to stay calm, organised and solution focused under pressure
-Current Approved Managers Card is essential
-Availability across days, nights and weekends
