Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Lead to lead critical civil works on a major infrastructure project with VINCI.
The role combines cost control, earned value management, risk management and integration with planning and scheduling teams in a dynamic matrix environment.
The successful applicant will manage project controls across multiple zones, driving project performance and ensuring accurate financial data.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage project cost control processes, including month-end close, accruals, cost recording, forecasting, earned value measurement, and related audits.
Monitor and report project performance with time, cost and resource tracking; provide proactive, clear reporting aligned with company policies.
Lead and supervise the project controls team, including training and guidance on systems and best practices.
Collaborate with project teams and delivery managers to gather data, analyse performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and contribute to continuous improvement, benchmarking and lessons learned.
Skills and Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction, Building, Sciences, Architecture or Project Management, or equivalent experience.
5–10 years of relevant experience in Construction, Engineering, Commercial Project / Cost Control, Earned Value, Risks Management, Change Control.
Multi-disciplined Commercial Project/Cost Control experience, ideally for Major Projects.
Leadership and management of Commercial Project/Cost Control teams.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, Cost Control and Earned Value systems.
Current driver's license (C-class).
