As our Workshop Administration Manager, you'll be at the heart of our operations—supporting our workshop team and ensuring everything runs like a well‐oiled machine. This is a hands‐on leadership role where you'll have the opportunity to shape processes, drive efficiency, and make a real impact as we continue to grow.
We're a close‐knit, down‐to‐earth team with a strong passion for trucks and the transport industry. Based in Forrestfield, you'll lead our administration function and play a key role in delivering high‐quality service across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Charge: Oversee day‐to‐day administrative operations within the workshop
* Streamline Processes: Develop and improve workflows to boost efficiency and performance
* Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate a hardworking team
* Coordinate Operations: Handle scheduling, invoicing, inventory, and daily workshop activities
* Monitor Performance: Track budgets, resources, and KPIs to keep the business on target
* Communication Hub: Ensure smooth information flow between workshop, operations, admin, and management
* Parts Management: Order, track, and monitor parts and stock levels
* Documentation: Maintain accurate records and workshop documentation
* Inventory Control: Support stock management and ensure availability of parts
Skills & Experience
* Proven leadership experience within an automotive workshop environment
* Strong understanding of workshop operations and administration
* Experience using FMP software (highly regarded)
* Demonstrated ability to drive and manage KPIs
* Ability to perform under pressure in a fast‐paced setting
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Collaborative team player with a positive attitudeAdvanced Microsoft Office skills
* Quick learner with the ability to adapt to varied responsibilities
* Passion for supporting and developing team members
$85,000 to $105,000 per year plus super. Min five years leadership experience within an automotive workshop environment to be eligible for the top salary range.
