We are seeking a highly motivated Client Services Consultant (pathway to Financial Adviser) to join our team at Morgans Port Macquarie in Port Macquarie NSW 2444. This is a part-time role, offering the opportunity to gain valuable experience and skills to progress into a Financial Adviser role.
The Morgans Port Macquarie Adviser Pathways Program offers a structured and supported pathway into a career in financial advice. Designed to develop future advisers, the program combines hands‐on experience, formal training and mentoring from industry professionals. Participants gain exposure to real client work and core business operations, building the skills, confidence and qualifications needed to progress into a fully qualified Adviser role.

You'll be joining a team of 15 advisers with considerable experience and knowledge.
You'll be working out of our offices in the centre of beautiful Port Macquarie.

About You
* Candidates must be undertaking or have completed a recognised/relevant degree
* A willingness to undertake further study to meet financial adviser education requirements
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills with attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and colleagues
* Available for 20-25 hours per week on a part-time basis as a minimum
The Adviser Pathway Program Phase 1 - Pathways Induction
The first phase focuses on building foundational skills and business operations exposure.
Phase 2 - Adviser Assistant
The second phase emphasises administrative support and technical skill development directly to the advice team.
Phase 3 - Professional Year
The third phase prepares participants for a full‐time Adviser role.
Phase 4 - Financial Adviser
In the first five years of an Adviser's professional career, this phase involves supervised business writing and client engagement.
Port Macquarie Pathways Program What you'll be doing
* Providing high‐quality support and assistance to our team of financial advisers
* Conducting client research, data analysis and report preparation
* Assisting with the preparation of client statements, portfolio reviews and other client‐facing documents
* Collaborating with the advisory team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
* Participating in professional development activities to enhance your financial services knowledge and skills
* Valid work visa or appropriate work rights in Australia are required
Salary and hours negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.
