About the Role
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of our product range. This involves coordinating with our Transport Manager to manage load schedules, staging loads for carriers, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
Main Responsibilities
* Coordinate yard operations including vehicle load staging, storage management, and movement of vans in and out of the facility.
* Liaise daily with transport contractors to manage and schedule interstate deliveries across Australia.
* Raise and manage daily purchase orders for transport services, ensuring cost control and service compliance.
* Conduct regular stock audits and maintain accurate real-time inventory records.
* Investigate and report incidents, suggesting improvements.
* Follow process for damage claims from dealer network.
* Work closely with internal departments to align transport logistics for marketing campaigns, nationwide events, warranty returns, and intercompany vehicle transfers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Current forklift license and full driver's license.
* Extensive hands-on experience operating forklifts to safely load, unload, and maneuver high-value assets with precision and care.
* Proven ability to maintain organization and solve problems in fast-paced environments.
* Computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Excel WMS.
* Background in logistics, transport coordination, and yard operations highly regarded.
* Committed to safety with proactive attitude toward continuous process improvement.
* Strong communication skills with ability to engage and manage stakeholders effectively.
* Capable of performing under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
