We enable the war fighter by advocating for their ICT capability needs and improving the enterprise ICT experience across Defence.
The ideal candidate will have initiative and experience to analyse, plan, review and adjust priorities and work activities to meet business outcomes. They must also be able to undertake objective, systematic analysis and draw accurate conclusions based on evidence providing detailed technical, operational, professional and procedural advice in relation to complex service level agreement and supplier management activities.
* Key responsibilities:
* Defence Secret Network support services;
* Support JCG High Assurance Cryptographic infrastructure;
* Support Defence and Defence Industry High Assurance Cryptographic infrastructure;
* Equipment installation, maintenance, repair and removal;
* Cryptographic accounting; re-key duties, checks and destructions;
* Manage material & equipment spares and future holdings;
* Conduct Annual Audits, inspections, and group activities;
* Provide Support to COMSEC Incident Reporting and Investigations;
* Perform accounting processes, procedures and audits associated with COMSEC devices and material.
This role requires participation in an on call 24/7 support roster in support of delivering our COMSEC Services. This is remunerated through out of hour's restriction allowance.
As a member of our team, you will be working closely with Defence Cryptographic Management Directorate (DCMD) and Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) to ensure all COMSEC accounts are maintained in accordance with policy.
Job Benefits:
This position is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP). This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary otherwise payable under the Defence Enterprise Agreement (DEA), for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability.
