Regional Property Officer
We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Property Officer to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing land and housing assets, providing strategic guidance on commercial and operational risks, and balancing stakeholder interests.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Urban Development Impact Management: The Regional Property Officer will identify and review urban development impacts on Sunwater property in consultation with relevant business units.
* Property Coordination: They will assess third-party land access applications, coordinate stakeholder approvals, liaise with applicants and staff, and conduct site inspections.
* Safety Risk Management: The officer will help identify and manage safety risks related to third-party access to Sunwater infrastructure and land.
* Property Portfolio and Compliance: They will manage Sunwater's regional housing assets, oversee maintenance and refurbishment, and ensure compliance with tenure and access conditions.
This role requires a property professional with 2-5 years of experience and a relevant degree (or equivalent). The ideal candidate must possess expertise in managing diverse property portfolios, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to support strategic decisions. Experience with Native Title and Cultural Heritage assessments is highly desirable.
