About the role
This role will collaborate closely with CCQ Directorates in the commissioning lifecycle to establish and embed robust, contemporary services procurement processes and practices across the organisation.
The successful applicant will support CCQ in achieving its strategic objectives and delivering high-quality outcomes efficiently.
About you
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in a procurement and/or contract management role, preferably within the health or not-for-profit sector, and will possess:
* Demonstrated knowledge of not-for-profit entities and the primary health sector (desirable).
* Strong knowledge of, or ability to quickly acquire, best practice procurement, probity, and contract development and administration processes.
* Ability to systematically analyse information, anticipate risks, identify issues, draw conclusions, and propose solutions.
* Experience in applying organisational standards in developing procurement processes, drafting contracts, and managing provider compliance.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders.

CCQ delivers the primary health network (PHN) program for Central Queensland, Wide Bay, and Sunshine Coast on behalf of the Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care. CCQ aims to design and deliver world-recognised primary health outcomes, considering environmental, social, and cultural determinants of health that support communities.
