**Your Opportunity**:
- Warmly welcome & serve our guests. Our hatted restaurant is an attraction for guests and locals.
- Recommend wines to guests based on price, personal taste and food selection.
- Maintain an updated list of wines that complement food offerings.
- Create food and wine pairings for each of our seasonal menus.
- Be an expert on the menu, know it inside and out to ensure our guests receive a mind blowing service experience.
- Negotiate purchase pricing with vendors and wine makers.
- Set up and maintain systems to protect and maintain COGs, inventory management and correctly record wastage.
- Meet & connect with our guests and give them an experience beyond their expectations.
- Offer intuitive service and understand their varied needs whether it be a business meal, date night, a doggie degustation, ladies who lunch or gents that brunch - know what and how to best approach any service situation and blow their mind.
- Organise and deliver wine training and ensure associates are competent in wine and beverage offerings to maximise sales to guests.
**What we ask of you**
- Sommelier Grade 3/4.
- Valid RSA.
- Previous experience in a similar food and beverage operations.
- Excellent wine knowledge.
- A genuinely warm & welcoming demeanor.
- Energising motivation - it\'s infectious - no job is too big or too small.
- A passion for the industry, a want to be the best in service - mind blowing to be precise - and the best in lifestyle.
- A natural born storyteller.
