Details: Infrastructure Canberra is seeking a motivated and suitably qualified and experienced Design and Delivery Officer to support the delivery of Stage 1 of the Canberra Theatre Redevelopment Project. Focusing on design and construction compliance you will form part of a high calibre team facilitating the construction of a once in a generation arts infrastructure project for the ACT.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements:
Mandatory:
* hold a relevant professional qualification or accreditation with a professional body recognised within Australia; or
* hold a relevant building degree; or
* have significant building or infrastructure knowledge and/or project management experience.
Desirable:
* Hold a relevant professional qualification in Engineering, Architecture or Project Management.
* Experience in design management of consultants on large complex building projects.
* Class C drivers’ licence.
* Experience managing Design and Construct, and/or the General Contract 21 (GC21) forms of contract.
* Urban planning and Development Application experience.
Note: An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months. Temporary employment offered as a result of this advertisement may lead to permanency/promotion as per the Public Sector Management Standards, Section 14 – Direct appointment of employee – general, and Section 20 – Direct promotion - general and CIT Enterprise Agreements.
