About the Position

The Product Support Operations Representative (PSOR) development program introduces you to Caterpillar's products, services and Dealer network. You will complete a 12‐week training program followed by rotational assignments tailored to your career path.

Development Focus

* Develop industry and product application knowledge.
* Build a strong understanding of the Caterpillar Dealer network.
* Prepare for your role as a PSOR and future positions.

Upon completion you will collaborate with dealers to build capability, drive process improvement and execute Product Support (Service Operations) strategies. You will analyze data to identify opportunities and develop solutions that support dealers in meeting customer needs.

Job Summary

Field Rep Development Program focuses on building skills necessary to partner with Caterpillar dealers to drive strategy alignment and customer loyalty. It is an 18–24‐month developmental program with a customized development plan to learn Caterpillar machines, organizations and values.

Training

You will start with a 12‐week program of workshops on Caterpillar knowledge, soft skills, and consulting with dealers and customers. The program includes travel to Asia and Europe to visit Caterpillar facilities.

What You Will Do

* Build foundational knowledge of Caterpillar products, services and customers.
* Grow personally and professionally through soft‐skills development and hands‐on technical training.
* Collaborate with product development, dealer management, marketing and sales experts.
* Work on multiple rotational assignments across Caterpillar to learn strategy, services and products.
* Manage assigned territory and serve as a connection between dealers and Caterpillar.

* Effective Communications: Ability to transmit, receive and interpret ideas and information accurately.
* Problem Solving: Knowledge and application of tools and techniques to recognize and resolve organizational problems.
* Relationship Management: Ability to establish and maintain healthy relationships with clients, vendors and peers.
* Value Selling: Ability to present product/service value and differentiate support offerings.

Required Qualification, Skills & Experience

* Strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to travel up to 30%+.
* Demonstrated technical and non‐technical aptitude.
* Valid Passport.

Top Candidates will have

* 3–5 years of experience in engineering or process/change management.
* A passion to learn, engage with people and build strong relationships.
