About the role
We are currently seeking a Plant Administrator to join our Select Plant Australia team in Malaga, WA. This permanent role offers great career prospects with one of the largest specialist plant hire businesses in Australia.
Key responsibilities
The Role will involve exposure and involvement in a wide range of day-to-day site activities, including but not limited to;
1. Preparing and posting journals for allocation and correction of plant costs to projects
2. Assisting in preparation and review of Plant profit and loss, operating and overhead reports
3. Completing timely analysis of all relevant plant costs including workshops, service units and asset profitability
4. Raising sundry debtor invoices, reviewing, and managing aged debtors
5. Assisting with the allocation of invoices, ensuring they are processed in a timely and accurate manner and monitoring overall invoice position
6. Identifying and assisting in rectifying shortfalls in invoice process competencies in particular with Goods Receipted Not Invoiced
7. Assist with any other administrative tasks as requested by the Plant Manager and wider project team.
About you
8. A minimum of two years administration experience preferably within a plant or procurement discipline
9. Experience of working on major civil engineering or rail projects would be beneficial
10. Intermediate to advanced computer competencies in all Microsoft Packages
11. Previous knowledge of ordering/booking systems or a similar system for and Plant hire procurement
12. Proven ability to work in a fast paced, demanding environment with a proactive adaptable attitude.
13. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of your role.
14. Strong communication skills and confident in building relationships.
