Event Access: Staff tickets to great concerts and events throughout the yearThe roleWe are seeking a proactive and experienced Event Manager to lead projects from first enquiry through to delivery.
The role has a primary focus on event management and also includes involvement on the hire side of our business, working with clients to scope and supply solutions from The Event Mill and Reeces Hire.
You will own client relationships, shape creative concepts, build accurate budgets and schedules, coordinate suppliers and crew, and provide confident leadership on site when required.
We are open to flexible schedule and part time for the right candidate.What you will doManage a portfolio of corporate, government, community and private eventsLead client discovery, proposals, presentations and stakeholder updatesCollaborate with the Senior Event Manager and Directors on strategy, key clients and approvals, while owning end to end delivery on assigned projectsDevelop concepts, styling directions, floor plans, run sheets and site plansBuild and manage budgets, quotes and margin targets, track costs and approvalsTranslate client briefs into hire solutions across The Event Mill and Reeces HirePrepare hire quotes, check availability, place inventory holds and finalise pick listsProcure and coordinate suppliers, negotiate rates and confirm scopesPlan logistics with operations and warehouse teams, schedule crews and transportOversee compliance and risk management including WHS and permitsLead installs, show calls and pack downs when required, ensure quality controlDeliver post event reporting, debriefs and continuous improvement actionsWhat you will bring3 or more years in event management or event production in an agency, venue or hire environmentStrong project leadership, stakeholder management and communication skillsDemonstrated experience managing multiple vendors and external suppliers simultaneouslyConfidence working both independently and as part of a small senior led teamProven budgeting, quoting and cost control capability with high attention to detailConfidence with Microsoft Office and comfort learning design or floor plan toolsCurrent driver's licence and flexibility to work some evenings and weekendsA calm and solutions focused approach and a genuine love of great eventsTertiary qualification in Event Management, Marketing, Business or related field preferredApply nowReady to lead premium events and shape best in class hire solutions with a supportive and creative team?
