Account Manager – General Insurance Broker

As an Account Manager, you'll manage an active portfolio of SME clients, providing personalised service and expert advice to meet their unique insurance needs. You'll work alongside experienced brokers and senior leaders committed to your development and career progression.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and retain an established book of SME to mid-market clients
* Handle all aspects of broking including renewals, new business, endorsements, and claims support
* Negotiate with underwriters to secure competitive terms and cover
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships
* Identify opportunities to grow and improve the portfolio
* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior brokers when required
What You'll Need to Succeed
* Minimum 3-5 years' experience in general insurance broking (SME or corporate portfolios)
* Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification and Diploma Qualified
* Deep understanding of insurer markets, policy wordings, and placement strategy
* Strong relationship management and communication skills
* Client-first mindset with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
* Ability to work collaboratively in a high-performing team environment
