Portfolio, Program, Project Management Specialist
About the Role
This position plays a vital part in reviewing and refining project practices to ensure they remain practical, consistent, and aligned with evolving business needs.
You will support and lead our Portfolio, Program and Project Management Community of Practice, creating opportunities for learning, collaboration, and professional growth across project teams.
Main Responsibilities
* Work closely with stakeholders to establish and maintain comprehensive standards, processes, and tools for portfolio, program, and project management.
* Ensure alignment with industry best practices (ISO 21500) and organizational goals.
* Regularly review and update standards and processes to reflect changes in the business environment and emerging trends.
* Conduct independent project assurance and post-implementation reviews as required.
* Develop and implement metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of PPPM practices, tool usage, and data quality/accuracy.
* Foster a collaborative and supportive environment within the PPPM community of practice.
* Organize regular community events, workshops, and training sessions to share knowledge and best practices.
* Cultivate relationships with peers, including project, program, and portfolio management professionals.
About You
We're looking for a strong combination of:
* University degree in Business, Engineering, or an adjacent field.
* Relevant certification in Program and Project Management, such as PMI, AIPM, or AXELOS.
* Demonstrated experience in portfolio management and/or enterprise PMO environments.
* Proven success in developing and implementing enterprise PPPM frameworks, processes, and tools.
* Experience managing a community of practice or similar professional group that promotes knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
* Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills, including hosting events, workshop design, and facilitation, training, and development.
* Deep knowledge of SAP PPM and Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Viva Engage.
* Coaching and/or training experience is a plus.
