Student Accommodation & Facility Officer – Wollongong, NSW

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Student Accommodation & Facility Officer to join our team in Wollongong. The Student Administrative Officer is responsible for effective delivery of residential services in alignment with operational contracts, including cleaning, facilities management, student wellbeing, and occupancy management, while maintaining high levels of student satisfaction and compliance with university standards.
Key Accountabilities
* Operational Management of Residences: Oversee daily operations across all residence sites, ensuring services are delivered consistently. Previous experience in student accommodation, facility management or hospitality operations is essential.
* Cleaning Services Management: Manage cleaning services in line with agreed specifications and standards. Oversee inspection program including entry protocols, service hours, and university policies.
* Facilities & Asset Management: Previous experience in facility and asset managing mid to large scale sites is encouraged.
* Student Experience & Wellbeing: Effectively manage and identify student wellbeing concerns, responding to student support services, including student residence satisfaction surveys.
* Compliance, Safety & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, policies and Australian standards, and manage emergency response protocols.
* Staff Leadership & Coordination: Develop and improve administrative workflow systems to support an efficient and student‐centred service.
