Role Overview
The Station Support Officer is part of Metropolitan Operational Services and serves as one of the first points of contact at a police station. Responsibilities include:
1. Providing professional customer service
2. Answering enquiries, providing or recording information, and redirecting to appropriate officers or services
3. Handling face-to-face enquiries, taking reports, recording information, and referring to suitable personnel
4. Performing various administrative duties to support the efficient operation of the police station
Special Conditions
- Must hold current Australian work eligibility and pass a criminal history check
- May be assigned other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent
- Some out-of-hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required
- Participation in SAPOL's iEngage program is mandatory
Salary
ASO2 - $58,709 to $63,154 per annum
