About Us
Our people are advising on Australia’s largest infrastructure projects in the water, renewable energy, transport and social infrastructure sectors. We are working on city changing projects including planning for infrastructure required for the 2032 Olympic Games in Queensland, on the METRONET project in Western Australia, major renewable energy projects in Victoria and NSW, Melbourne’s Metro Tunnel and Victoria’s Suburban Rail Loop Authority. We work across the whole project lifecycle from early stage strategy and planning, through procurement and into delivery. We also partner with public sector and essential service providers to plan, design and mobilise the workforces that deliver major programs. Our goal is to enhance the social, environmental, commercial, economic and organisational value of Australia’s investment in infrastructure.
Your Responsibilities
- Understand and confidently articulate the value of effective project development service offerings to business bottom line and government reputation.
- Develop a network and strong market reputation across Queensland public and private sectors.
- Act upon current relationships to identify and develop immediate business opportunities.
- Be commercially astute, with a background in consulting or contractor environment and/or government sector experience.
- Have a high level of drive, ambition and versatility as the role forms part of a broader team that acts upon innovation and thought leadership.
- Work on complex project development projects, leverage client and commercial opportunities.
- Assist with proposal writing, coordination, thought leadership and other activities that enhance RPS’s ability to win work.
- Provide analytical and project delivery capability, undertaking tasks such as viewing project from client perspective, creating impactful presentations, writing high-quality reports, monitoring delivery quality, demonstrating efficiencies and effective processes.
Required Skills and Experience
- Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering, Law, Business, Project Management, Economics or Commerce / Finance are desirable.
- 2+ years proven experience in project/program management including managing projects for government and/or private sector clients.
- Track record of working with clients to plan, deliver and/or mobilise infrastructure.
- Demonstrated ability to form long‑term, trusted relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders.
- Excellent skills in managing relationships, teams, projects and issues.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team and work co‑operatively with people at all levels.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Superior written and verbal communications skills and strong slide storytelling.
- Ability to manage and grow business relationships.
