Senior Water Planning Engineer Opportunity
Making a positive community impact is at the core of this role. As a Senior Water Planning Engineer, you will lead the technical assessment and strategic planning of water supply networks to address growth, compliance, network performance, and renewals.
About the role:
* Lead and deliver technical tasks across a wide range of high-profile water infrastructure projects
* Facilitate client workshops and develop project scopes
* Prepare clear, professional reports on medium to large projects
* Contribute to proposal development for medium to large projects
* Supervise project teams to meet objectives and client expectations
* Engage with industry associations to stay up-to-date on best practices
* Comply with all SHEQ obligations
Key responsibilities include:
1. Delivering engineering consultancy services to public and private clients
2. Providing planning and technical expertise in water supply networks - circa 10+ years experience
3. Communicating effectively with stakeholders through presentations and workshops
4. Developing project proposals and scoping documents
5. Applying analytical methods such as Multi-Criteria Analysis (MCA), risk assessments, and cost-benefit analysis
6. Utilizing GIS and Excel for data analysis and mapping
7. Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent (Chartered professional status - CPENG - is a plus)
