Description
FireTron Inc. is seeking a skilled and reliable Fire Sprinkler Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the layout, fabrication, and installation of fixed fire protection systems in accordance with codes, standards, and company procedures. This role requires strong pipefitting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work from blueprints or technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities
1. Install fire sprinkler systems per blueprints, manufacturer guidelines, and applicable codes.
2. Cut, thread, groove, join, and secure piping using proper tools and techniques.
3. Select and verify materials based on job specifications.
4. Maintain a clean and organized work area on job sites.
5. Communicate material needs and changes in scope of work with the Foreman in a timely manner.
6. Use a variety of hand, electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools safely and effectively.
7. Plan installation sequences to minimize disruption to customer operations.
Requirements
1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
3. Ability to pass a background check.
4. Strong team player with a collaborative attitude.
5. Proven ability to complete tasks efficiently, safely, and on time.
6. Commitment to safety, including adherence to all company safety policies and procedures.
7. Willingness to identify and stop unsafe practices in the workplace.
8. Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines and job commitments.
