Excellent opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join the team at Fleurieu Cranes
**About the Opportunity**
This role is with our valued client Fleurieu Cranes and will be based at their Head Office in Wingfield, SA.
Reporting to the Financial Accountant, the Payroll Officer will oversee the entire end to end payroll process for Fleurieu Cranes and associated entities. Using their depth of knowledge and experience in Payroll, they will ensure timeliness and accuracy is met, identify opportunities for process improvements and work with stakeholders to implement them.
Responsibilities will include:
- Processing and maintenance of weekly payroll within legislative, award and enterprise agreement guidelines 
- Data entry from work dockets and time sheets 
- Calculating and processing payroll changing conditions, terminations, and one off payments 
- Manage and maintain employee records and parameters within payroll (MYOB), and other payroll filing 
- End of month reconciliations and lodgements: PAYG, Super, WorkCover, PRT, BIRST, Income Protection, Child Support, Portable Long Service Leave, etc. 
- End of month general ledger reconciliations: PAYG, Super, WorkCover, PRT, BIRST, Income Protection, Portable Long Service Leave and provisions for Employee Entitlements. 
- Addressing all payroll related enquiries from employees and managers 
- General support and ad-hoc tasks when required
Please note, this position is offered as a 12-month maternity leave contract.
**About You**
You will have/be:
- Significant experience processing end to end payroll including rostered, salaried, and casual staff covered by various agreement types and conditions 
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach 
- Ability to identify opportunities for process and procedure improvements and work collaboratively with stakeholders to implement 
- Outstanding problem-solving skills, high attention to detail and ability to work autonomously, under pressure and to deadlines 
- Advanced computing skills including use of Microsoft programs, in particular Excel 
- Current driver's licence
Proven experience with a variety of payroll systems will be highly regarded (including MYOB). A criminal history check will also be required (prior to commencement).
