Our B2B business is a growth arm in the domestic and international Wholesale channels forging partnerships to underpin food security for Australian communities and our offshore customers. We are currently investing in people to grow and support our evolving customer offering.
The Opportunity
To support the ongoing growth of our B2B business, we are currently looking for a driven and energetic demand planner with a passion for stakeholder engagement. This role will be responsible for facilitating and executing the collaborative demand planning process between our B2B business, customers and support teams. Strong communication skills and ability to influence will be essential to successfully deliver exceptional product availability for our customers.
This role will be part of a cross functional team which encompasses a multitude of Woolworths functional areas and external customers, providing excellent opportunities to build networks and drive cross-team continuous improvement initiatives.
Who we're looking for
Our new team members will have:
* Minimum 5 years demand and/or supply planning experience a retail or FMCG environment
* Demonstrated expertise in forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to analyse large data sets to deliver data driven actionable insights and recommendations
* Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
* Excellent internal and external stakeholder management and influencing skills
* A positive approach to work and attention to detail to consistently deliver high quality output
* Technical skills / knowledge:
o Knowledge of JDA, SAP/APO, Forecast Pro or other software related to demand planning is preferred
o Intermediate to advanced Excel and MS Access skills
o SQL or similar with the ability to query, understand and validate data will be beneficial
