**About the branch**
Workforce Capability and Assurance provides a key enabling function, supporting the development of agency capability and providing the agency with the assurance that it continues to meet its legislative obligations.
The branch is responsible for the delivery of all human resource and people strategies, as well as protecting the agency, its people and its capabilities through an integrated protective security and integrity function.
Workforce Capability and Assurance supports employee wellbeing, as well as provides critical support to intelligence operations by oversighting the agency’s use of certain powers, ensuring legislative compliance and contributing to operational outcomes.
**About the role**
The HR Advisor Pay and Conditions is responsible for a range of activities related to employee pay, superannuation, terms and conditions of employment.
This includes providing expert advice and guidance to staff, and resolving complex pay-related enquiries.
The HR Advisor Pay and Conditions takes a lead role in prioritising the work of the team, and undertaking quality and assurance activities.
With knowledge of SAP, or the ability to quickly obtain this knowledge, the HR Advisor Pay and Conditions produces regular employee-related reporting, and is responsible for all pay run processes.
- Provides advice, guidance and training on a broad range of employment conditions and entitlements.
- Can produce and analyse a range of pay and entitlement related reports.
- Is a problem-solver, with well-rounded research and analytic skills.
- Displays knowledge and experience in processing payroll.
- Has highly developed oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates strong team skills, with the ability to triage and prioritise work across the team.

Successful applicants will be required to obtain and maintain, or continue to hold, the required security clearance for this role.
