ABOUT THE POSITION.
This is an opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who is looking to join a motivated and driven team and contribute on projects. In this role, you will be pivotal to the lifecycle of a project, from the feasibility of the project to the completion. As a senior member of the team, you will be expected to provide guidance and help mentor the junior members of the team.
DUTIES.
o Manage Pre-Contract and Post-Contract stages.
o Create procurement and contract advice.
o Responsible for the measurement of quantities, estimates, cost plans, bills of quantities and pre-tender estimates.
o Direct projects from feasibility through to the completion of the project, ensuring on time delivery and budget control.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
o A bachelor’s degree in project management or construction management (Majoring in Cost Management or Quantity Surveying).
o Minimum 6 years’ experience in Cost Management / Quantity Surveying.
o Experience working with CostX is desirable.
o Currently holds a membership in an accredited professional organisation (e.g. RICS, AIQS).
