This is an opportunity to work in a new youth mental health service that aims to improve early access to care for young people with severe and complex mental health needs.
We are seeking a Senior Clinician to provide trauma-informed, culturally safe, intensive therapeutic interventions and integrated psychosocial responses to young people experiencing complex and severe mental health concerns.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing leadership, mentorship and supervision to ensure the delivery of strengths-based and recovery-oriented mental health care and treatment.
To be successful in this role, you will require relevant tertiary qualifications and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) for Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists or Psychologists, or eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) for Social Workers.
Extensive postgraduate clinical experience and knowledge in providing evidence-based mental health assessment and treatment for young people and their carers is also required.
