CNC Machinist and Programmer Wanted
We are seeking a skilled CNC machinist and programmer to join our team.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for programming and operating CNC lathes, borers, and mills, including brand new Goodway machinery. This will involve detecting and fixing any programming errors, programming using Siemens controls, reverse engineering supplied items, performing maintenance checks, testing, and calibration on machines as required, quality checking finished parts, cleaning of tools and equipment as required, and logging job times at the end of shift daily.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Trade Certificate and qualification in CNC programming and operation.
* Proven work history in a similar position.
* Strong work ethic, honesty, and self-motivation.
* Excellent computer and technical skills.
* Prioritisation of safety above all else.
* Able to work as part of a team and share knowledge.
* Current Driver's Licence (desirable but not essential).
* High-Risk Licence - Forklift, Overhead Crane, and Dogman (desirable but not essential).
