Part-Time Bookkeeper (Flexible Hours)

Illawarra Projects is a growing building and construction company based in the Illawarra, delivering a wide range of residential, strata, and commercial projects. We are looking for an experienced and reliable Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team and support our day-to-day financial operations.
This role is ideal for someone seeking flexible working hours, including the ability to work around school drop-offs/pick-ups or other commitments.
At present, the role will be 1 day per week, with the possibility of adding more days a week in the future.
Key Responsibilities
* Accounts payable and receivable
* Bank reconciliations
* Processing invoices, receipts, and supplier payments
* Payroll processing and superannuation
* Maintaining accurate financial records
* Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal team
* Supporting month-end reporting and general admin tasks
About You
* Proven experience in a bookkeeping or accounts role
* Strong knowledge of accounting software - Xero
* High attention to detail and organisation skills
* Ability to work independently and manage your own time
* Strong communication skills
* Experience in construction (preferred but not essential)
