Overview
We are exclusively partnered with a growing $150 million group in a strong, resilient sector that is thriving. They are forecasting growth to $250 million in the next financial year. We are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join their team and be at the forefront of change for this business.
This role will be 50% Accounts Payable and 50% month end.
Responsibilities
* Daily reconciliations
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Maintenance of the fixed asset register
* Assisting with the month end close
* Profit & loss analysis
* GST journals and BAS
* Help out with ongoing projects surrounding process improvement and implementations
* Owning the Accounts Payable process
About you
* Outstanding communication, both written and verbal.
* At least 12 months of experience across an Assistant Accountant or Accounts Clerk role – with background in Accounts Payable and helping with month end close.
* Happy to work on site 5 days per week.
