Experienced FIFO Lab Technicians required

We are currently working with the owner operator of a hard rock mine site located in North West Queensland.
Your new role
Due to increased operational demand, our client is seeking FIFO Laboratory Technicians departing from Townsville, Brisbane, or Cairns. This position involves both day and night shifts on a 7/7 roster, with 12.5 hour shifts. Responsibilities of this role may include but are not limited to:
* Preparation, analysis, and reporting of samples to required standards
* Maintaining laboratory equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation
* Adhering to all site and laboratory safety procedures
* Managing laboratory consumables and reagents, including stock monitoring, equipment pre-starts, and routine maintenance
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* Previous FIFO experience (essential)
* Experience working in lead, silver, or zinc mining environments
* XRF experience (preferred but not essential)
* Current First Aid & CPR certification
* Ability to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
* Ability to obtain a police clearance
This role is working within a lead/silver mine site, which will require you to be clean-shaven to be successful in the role.
