Responsibilities
* Develop traffic and transport management plans for major event bus operations (e.g., NYE, City2Surf, Vivid, events at Sydney Olympic Park), including incident management across the transport network and support live operations within operations centres.
* Work in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to contribute to strategic planning, develop and coordinate multi‐modal traffic and transport management plans, and prepare briefings and reports aligned with agency requirements.
* Lead multi‐modal traffic and transport planning and incident response outcomes in a complex, time‐critical operational workplace requiring coordination across multiple transport modes, agencies and stakeholders; develop fit‐for‐purpose operational and incident response plans that achieve effective customer and network outcomes.
* Possess a valid Australian driver's licence and be willing to work outside normal hours and undertake travel to meet business requirements.
Qualifications
* Recognised as a collaborative transport operations planning professional skilled at developing and coordinating operational traffic and transport management plans.
* Experienced in multi‐modal transport operations, traffic and transport management, stakeholder engagement and project‐based planning.
