This long-term, full-time (Mon-Fri) role in a thriving workshop demands expertise in electrical fitting and offers hands-on experience building our extensive product range.
You'll work within a skilled team, enhancing your abilities in a crucial role.You will be responsible for the precise fabrication and installation of heavy copper busbars, a core function of this role.
This includes utilizing specific techniques and heavy machinery to accurately cut, punch, and bend the metal, applying bend allowance calculations, and ensuring their correct integration within switchboard enclosures.Key responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Manufacture electrical switchboards based on drawings.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Manufacture LDW blocks.
PVC coat busbars.
Manufacture PVC shielding.
Manufacture and assemble busbars.
Perform necessary cabling.
Adhere to the company's quality assurance policies for electrical fitting.
Maintain a tidy and safe work area.
Comply with all Health & Safety regulations and prevent risks.
Ideal Candidate: Solid background in the fabrication of electrical switchboards and busbars.
Skilled in the accurate interpretation of electrical schematics and blueprints.
Competent in the testing, diagnosis, and resolution of electrical system issues.
Possesses a strong work ethic and is highly self-motivated.
Exhibits excellent communication abilities.
Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety regulations and meticulous attention to detail in all tasks.
Known for reliability and punctuality.
Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team environment.
Must meet pre-employment requirements for drug and alcohol screening.
Salary: 75K to 80K per annumThe company is an approved employer sponsor.
